I am very lucky to live in such a beautiful city. I only had to drive a few minutes to this beautiful field. (it is actually the back part of a rugby field). Right before I shot these I was looking at some of my favorite art by Kees Van Dongen and Gustav Klimt. I have also been studying the work of Paul Poiret. I think that those influences came out in these photographs. I really like wearing this dress. Clothes really are like armor for every day life. It is amazing how a dress can make you feel. Or how you can be transported to a time or place by putting on a particular outfit.
