I'm back from Ireland and I wanted to share some words about my trip. This will be the first of a few posts about my trip. I'm coming back a better person than I left. I have been wrecked in the best way. I do think that some things are better left unsaid...especially on the internet but I want to share parts.

Every time I go to Ireland my life changes. In a dramatic way. I feel deeply connected to the country. The air, the water, the soil, it is in my bones. We are often so quick to dismiss anything profound, anything what we cannot see. Things that you can only feel. We don't leave room for magic. We say we don't have time or that it doesn't exist. But it is all around us. We turn strangers away out of fear. But those strangers can become friends. This feeling isn't limited to one place or time. We all have a light inside of us but some of us are afraid to let it shine. I know this because I have been one of those people, letting my anxiety get the best of me. Light attracts light. We are bombarded by images and other peoples opinions on how we should live our life and what success means. Success isn't something  tangible. Be open to beauty. In all forms. Draíocht is the Irish word for magic, that which is unseen. And that is how I would describe my time.
