I fell in love with this Equipment blue silk dress the moment I saw it. I've previously mentioned my love for silk and slip dresses. I love this shade of blue. I've paired it with one of my favorite vintage bags, trusty leather jacket, and Free People boots.

There is magic in vintage. In finding a gem amongst the rags. A piece that fits you. A garment that is not only weaved of fibers but with a story. Every piece has a story and now you get to be a part of that garments journey. If only vintage pieces came with their own books...with a few empty pages for you to fill.
I found this dress at Zoe's vintage in Forest Park.
I love a good silk slip dress. I love lounging in silks and I love the way a silk dress drapes on the body. This one from Conflict of Ego is perfect. I recently wrote two poems for Conflict of Ego's feed. Check them out here.
I recently purchased this Tissue dress in Dublin. I previously did a post about how much I love Tissue's designs. I was blown away in real life. I couldn't resist coming home with this red silk dress. The craftsmanship is excellent. I hope to add more Tissue pieces to my wardrobe soon.
I'm back from another amazing time in Ireland. I'll be sharing more about my trip on here once I have time to gather my thoughts and write it all down.
I scored this beautiful silk dress from Zara's recent sale. I love silks and nothing beats a good silk dress. As always, I paired it with my trusty leather jacket to dress it down.

Tissue is another Irish brand that I am in love with. Gráinne Finn and Hannah Mullan started Tissue in 2014. The clothes are strong. They have such a grasp for cut, color, and texture. It is no surprise to find out that Hannah has worked with some of my favorite designers such as Sharon Wauchob & Simone Rocha. When I first found Tissue I was like I can't wait to put that on my body. You know this is the kind of clothing that makes you not only look good but feel good.
I really enjoyed sharing a few of my favorite Irish designers with y'all. Something special is happening in Ireland right now and it is so much fun being able to experience it firsthand.
If you find yourself in Dublin check out the new MADE Dublin store at the top of Powerscourt Townhouse to shop some of the best of Irish design.

I was really excited when Fossil contacted me to become a Fossil Partner. I love a classic and timeless watch & a good handbag. I had so much fun styling these pieces.

Edel Traynor is another designer that I found through Instagram. I scrolled through her feed & immediately went to her website. I was feeling a rush of inspiration. Edel beautifully mixes femininity and the industrial to create unique pieces. They use the finest cottons and make pieces to last instead of fast fashion. Edel previously studied architecture and I think that you can see that in her designs.

I'm heading back to Ireland next week and I wanted to share 3 of my favorite Irish designers with you all. (there are a ton more that I love I just had to narrow down). I've been to Ireland a lot the past few years and you get the feeling that something really special is happening. Dublin is full of amazing talent, creativity, & inspiration. I'm always seeking out new Irish designers, photographers, & publications.
The first designer I want to feature is Capulet & Montague. I found Lisa's designs through Instagram and my eyes popped. Her design's are so unique compared to a lot of what is on the market right now. They are simple yet complex. Bold and modern. I cannot wait to see her designs in person in a few weeks.

New York, you build me and break me. Simultaneously pulling me from each end. Emptying me and filling me up, overflowing.

"Here is to supplying weirdlings with their everyday disguise"
- David Michael Hershberger
- David Michael Hershberger
I immediately picked up on this as soon as I found out about David Michael. The cuts, the tailoring, the individuality. There is nothing more sexy than good tailoring. Clothes, to me, are a form of armor for every day life... a chance to become a character. Most all of my outfits have a backstory to them. Pages and pages of inspiration and imagination in my head. David Michael's clothes provide the perfect costumes for the plays in my head. (& life.)
This week I'll be partnering with Gus Mayer to show you my picks for their annual Champagne Sale.
(see details below)
I was so excited to pull some things to share with y'all. Gus Mayer has an amazing selection and who doesn't love a sale? Especially on amazing brands.
My first pick is this incredible Alexander McQueen set. I live for a good set and Alexander McQueen. I paired it with my own Alexander McQueen shoes from a few years back. I love how simply elegant yet sexy this set is.
The presale starts today, June 6th. The Champagne Sale will be held Thursday June 9th from 4-9pm. Doorbuster prices will only be from 4-5pm and all sale merchandise will be an additional 33% off the red line price. (a total of 60% savings). Go stock up while you can!
Stay tuned for more of my picks this week!
